KNR Systems develops and manufactures specialized testing equipment for evaluating ‘Stress Corrosion Fatigue and Fretting’ on Materials used in nuclear power plants. Our systems are capable of precisely maintaining high-temperature and high-pressure environments within reactor cooling systems and simulating internal conditions using inert gases such as argon—an area that demands exceptional technical expertise. KNR Systems delivers these advanced technologies through proprietary, proven methods. Our solutions are globally recognized for superior performance and precision, offering a clear edge over competitors in international markets. By enhancing the safety and reliability of the future nuclear energy industry, KNR Systems testing equipment consistently exceeds customer expectations in both technology and quality, serving as a trusted partner in nuclear innovation.

Corrosion Fatigue Testing System

KNR Systems ‘Corrosion Fatigue Testing System’ is a high-precision materials testing solution designed to operate under extreme conditions, including high temperature, high pressure, hydrogenated water, and various chemically aggressive environments. It accurately simulates real-world operating conditions in nuclear and thermal power plants, allowing for in-depth evaluation of corrosion and fatigue resistance in metals and structural materials under repeated stress. At the heart of the system is ‘The Water Loop System’, which maintains temperatures up to 350 °C and pressures up to 30 MPa. It circulates corrosive solutions of varying chemical compositions to closely replicate actual service environments. In addition, inert gas injection (such as argon) and deoxygenation controls enable precise regulation of the test atmosphere, ensuring thorough control over corrosion-related variables. This system is an essential tool for long-term reliability assessment of components such as piping, welds, and structural elements used in nuclear power plants. It enables accurate measurement of crack propagation behavior, corrosion rates, and fatigue life under diverse and demanding test scenarios.
