Dual Robotic Arm Omni Platform Duro
We have launched DURO (DUal Robotic Omni platform), an innovative mobile manipulator robot platform powered by hydraulics. DURO is equipped with two hydraulic robotic arms, each capable of handling loads up to 210 kg, and the mobile base itself can transport up to 2 tons. Despite its powerful performance, DURO maintains a compact footprint of just 1.6 m × 2.3 m × 2.6 m when the arms are folded, making it a highly efficient solution for heavy-duty tasks in constrained spaces.
Key features of DURO include collaborative operation using dual robotic arms and autonomous driving capabilities. The robot can be controlled remotely via mobile teleoperation and real-time monitoring systems. It also boasts IP66-rated dust and water resistance, and adopts a 4WIS(Four-Wheel Independent Steering) drive mechanism, allowing each wheel to steer independently—enabling precise path tracking and agile obstacle avoidance in complex environments.
Unlike conventional hydraulic robot systems based on foreign technologies, our platform incorporates core components—such as hydraulic actuators and servo valves—developed with proprietary, Korea-based technologies. This approach ensures faster and more efficient maintenance, while enabling exceptional heavy-load handling capabilities even in mid-sized robots—where motor-based systems often fall short.
DURO offers a powerful solution for addressing labor shortages and enabling safe automation across high-load, high-risk, and harsh-environment industries such as steelmaking, power generation, shipbuilding/marine, construction, and civil engineering. By helping to mitigate issues related to workforce aging and the scarcity of new talent, DURO not only enhances operational safety but also contributes to the creation of new job opportunities through the advancement of digital technologies.
